The Clinic Nurse provides direct patient care in a clinical setting, supporting physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient care. This role includes patient assessment, treatment assistance, education, and clinic operations support.
Perform basic clinical procedures
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up instructions
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in electronic health systems
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to providers promptly
Ensure infection control standards and clinic safety protocols are followed
Manage clinic supplies, equipment, and medication inventory
Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care
Respond to medical emergencies within the clinic according to protocol
Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Valid nursing license (RN or LPN/LVN, as applicable)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Outpatient clinic
May involve standing for extended periods and assisting patient mobility
