Key Responsibilities to Include:

• Taking detailed patient medical histories.
• Measuring visual acuity, color vision, and other relevant visual functions.
• Performing preliminary screenings and preparing patients for exams.
• Operating and maintaining ophthalmic equipment (e.g., autorefractors, phoropters, tonometers).
• Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests like visual fields, OCT, and fundus photography.
• Assisting with minor surgical procedures.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of ophthalmic instruments and equipment.
• Experience with sterilizing and maintaining ophthalmic equipment.
